playing with makeup

i've always thought that maybe I just don't have a face for make up. Whenever I try to do more than a daily natural look, venturing only as far as a cat eye, whenever I try to do heavier, it looks like a mess. I look funny. Well, I think I do anyway. So, I decided to play around with some new make up, some heavier make up, and try to get better at it.

First up, I tried an easy smoky eye. Just some black cream liner pencil, and some sparkly navy shadow, some highlighter, and some mascara. Here's the results...
