traditions

do you have any Christmas traditions?

My childhood is filled with Christmas traditions, from Dad reading The Night Before Christmas to going to the midnight service at church. Christmas Day was filled with multiple present-opening and food eating sessions. It still is, haha.

As I've become an adult, I've made some that are kind of just for me. I always watch Love Actually on Christmas Eve before bed. I always bake bread during the day on Christmas Eve, wrapping presents while it rises. As an adult, work seems to bump right up to the day itself..if I didn't take days off, it would just blend in, which is sad, really. Having these traditions let me put my mind in the right place.
